The park will present haunted houses such as Tombstone Terror-tory and Midnight Mansion, scare zones, and shows. It also offers the Wicked Woods, a haunted trail that snakes through the woods down to the banks of the Connecticut River. During the day, it will offer more family-friendly activities, including a trick-or-treat trail, a Looney Tunes costume party, and a pumpkin patch.

Fright Fest will kick off its evening activities with The A-WAKEning, a funeral procession. The event will feature Movietown Cemetary Statue Garden, where the statues will come to life and five haunted trails, including Circus Psycho and Bone Butcher Terror-Tory. Shows will include a hypnotist, the Menagerie of Oddities, and Psycho Slideshow (a PowerPoint presentation gone MAD?). During the day, Great Adventure will present a costume parade, Professor Slither's Creepy Critters (real bats, rats, and other creepy animals), a trick-or-treat trail, and other activities for younger kids.
New York

The park will present a blood drive in conjunction with Fright Fest on October 1. The event will feature Skull Manor, a haunted house, and Hanging of a Witch, an extreme illusion show. Less spooky offerings will include Doc Swan's Psycho Sideshow, a screaming contest, a trick-or-treat trail, and the magic show, Medusa's Survival Test.
Texas
Six Flags Fiesta Texas, San Antonio, TX
- 2008 dates: Oct. 4, 5, 11, 12, 17-19, 24-26, 31, and Nov. 1 and 2
- Cost: Included in Six Flags admission. For past events, the haunted house has required an extra fee.
Attractions will include the shows, Mayor Slayer's Monster Mash Bash, Last Chance Legends, and Wolfman Hack's Creature Feature. Mr. Slithers Creepy Critters will offer live snakes. For younger kids, there'll be trick-or-treating, storytime, pumpkin paitning, and other special activities.
